HP is reportedly streamlining its workforce and tries to improve the company’s efficiency by cutting more than 30,000 jobs. The company’s new CEO, Meg Whitman is planning to use the saved money for designing new products and improving the sales force.

We sincerely hope that this won’t be another Carly Fiorina disaster, but there are strong signs that CEO Whitman is a totally different kind of business woman.

Throughout her career, everything she touched seemed to make billions and made her billions too. Meg Whitman served as an executive for DreamWorks, Procter & Gamble, and Hasbro.

Whitman also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of eBay from 1998 to 2008.

She is the second richest politician in USA with a personal fortune of around 1.4 billion dollars and she seems to be dead set to torn HP around.

We can only hope that this will bring back to life HP’s WebOS and those nice 150 USD tablets.
